Apparel Division

Incorporated on 21st May 1981 , Perusahaan Chan Choo Sing Sdn Bhd ("PCCS”) is primarily a garments manufacturer. All of its products are exported overseas to the United States of America, Canada, Europe, Japan, Singapore and the Middle East.

Existing buyers include Adidas, The Gap, Old Navy, Carter's, Puma, Champion, Cross Creek, Nike etc. Its operations in Malaysia are handled by 2 factories. Combined, their total production capacity is 500,000 dozen garments per year.

To meet the increasingly sophisticated demands of customers, it has increased the effectiveness of pattern designers with the advances Lectra MODARIS & DIAMINO Marker CAD system. Precious time can now be devoted to creative, expression rather than tedious redundant handling and checking of patterns.

The Company has also invested in 280 INA or SMART Line workstations and a Garments Production Control and Management System ("GPRO"). These have reduced work-in-progress, thus drastically shortening handling time and eliminating bundling time altogether. Other highly automated systems that have contributed towards reducing production lead-time, improving employees' work efficiency and increasing value-added time include Automatic Pocket Setter, Needle Detector, Fabric Inspection Machine, Automatic Spreader and Auto Cutter.

The Company has also invested substantially in state-of-the-art quality control systems and machines to ensure that every piece of garments meets international standards of excellence

Stringent quality control is at every level of production, right up to packing and shipping. Combined with a workforce that’s both efficient and reliable, this has contributed to the unprecedented success of the division.

PCCS Garments Ltd is built on a 4.5 acre land, with a total built-up area of 100,000 sq ft. It employs up to 10,000 workers who are continuously upgraded with quality training. With a maximum volume of 100,000 dozen garments per month, the establishment of PCCS Garments Ltd in Cambodia had doubled the total production capacity of PCCS. In short, the Apparel Division has the total capacity to produce over 1.8 million dozen garments annually. PCCS Garments Ltd is currently one of the pioneer garment exporters in Cambodia.

The strategic setting up of this factory and the excellent production management has resulted in considerable cost savings for the Group and create job opportunities to the local. Quality products have been exported to USA , Europe and many other countries worldwide.

In Year 2005, the Group had further established manufacturing operation in Suzhou( China) to provide development services to various key buyers and local sales. This has further help the Group to have quick turn-around time in sampling development to the buyers.
